The creative pedagogy implemented in this triple literacy programme was conceived and developed over six years of action research in Year 2 and Year 3 by Delyth Owen. The resultant French version – Alex en France – is suitable for children in Year 6 in both Welsh and English Medium schools.
Alex en France uses the same creative pedagogy as Green for Go and Gwyrdd i Gychwyn. Although similar, it is not a translation, but has been written as an original French version.
Resources for Year 6
Resources include a teacher's handbook, French display posters, assessment, reading and spelling aids, a set of French Books, a 'La Chienne Tish' soft toy and a French pronunciation audio.
